"Wonderful hospitality"

I have stayed several times at the Sule Shangri-la, and it never disappoints! This time I stayed in a Horizon Club room and would definitely recommend paying the extra for all it offers — delicious breakfast in private Club Lounge, amazing food spread and free cocktails between 5:30 & 7:30 p.m., and impeccable service from all the staff. The rooms are very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. In the bathroom I would have preferred a walk-in shower, rather than bath/ shower combo, but that is purely personal! A wide array of products are provided in the bathroom, including lovely L’Occitane toiletries. The over-riding joy of a stay in this hotel, however, comes from the truly amazing staff — friendly, smiley, courteous, eager to please and always helpful. They are simply exceptional and I thank them unreservedly for making my stay so happy and memorable.

"beautiful classic hotel"

Great location in the center of the city. Very friendly staff. I paid to be upgraded to the club floor and enjoyed the the service of the friendly staff and the chef of the club lounge. The food and wine in the lounge was excellent.

Very happy with the Sule Shangri-La Hotel. Helpful and friendly staff, large comfortable room and all the services expected from a top end hotel. Very convenient location close to many of the tourist sites.

"missing old traders hotel staffs and restaurant"

nice hotel staying in this hotel over 20 years before is Traders hotel...now all staffs changed.....miss the Japanese restaurant stayed in the lobby before now changed to meeting room

"Excellent hotel value"

Central location, near new large mall and plenty of local shopping; city center with many historic buildings and sites.is walking distance. Get a good flavor of the city from this hotel's location. Near Shwedagon pagoda. Excellent staff, warm, courteous and efficient. The Horizon Club offers great city views and friendly staff. A fully equipped gym and large pool. A good find and great value in Yangon. A Shangri-La standard and experience.
