Kilimanjaro Lodge - MCF

The setting is lovely and peaceful, the swimming pool is great. The staff are very lovely and friendly.

The bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. The rooms are clean but the shower pipe was leaking.

There was 2 pcs of duvet on the double bed which is meant for a twin bed.

Booked a room and ended ip being given a tent to stay in. I guess this was because the place was fully booked due to the marathon, but in any case I booked a room and not a tent. Tents were good and comfortable but I guess when you book a room and end up sleeping in a tent for the same price it’s disappointing

The accommodation has a great view of Kilimanjaro, the food is really good and the stuff are very kind and helpful. I strongly recommend the place.

Sun lounger at the pool are very heavy and not easy to use

this choice was really value for money , the breakfast spread was also really great. it has a very beautifull garden all around and lilovely views of mt. kilimanjaro from their breakfast deck7

We spent two days at this hotel to relax after our parks tour and prepare for the Kilimanjaro hike. The hotel is lovely, and the manager was always available to accommodate our needs. Breakfast was great, featuring fresh and delicious food. A perfect place to recharge before the adventure!

Unfortunately, the hotel restaurant was closed due to maintenance, so we had to dine outside. There were some issues with the electricity, and we experienced problems with hot water in the bathroom. Additionally, the pool was not clean, so we couldn’t enjoy it

We stayed here 2 nights before we climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and 2 nights after climbing Kili. We got totally rested before and after our trip. The place looks so tranquil with a beautiful garden and it's nice and quiet. The pool is very nice, the bed is good and the room is spacious and clean. The chef makes some very very delicious meals! And also the breakfast is excellent. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They also have laundry service which we used after climbing Kili and I think my clothes have never been this clean. Next to the accommodation is a school and part of the money you pay for the accommodation is actually going to the Mama Clementina foundation which helps the local kids to go to school. So all the more reason to book a room here!

The service from the staff ( a special thanks to Contessa ) the made to order meals and the beautiful relaxing environment..including the amazing view of Kilimanjaro I needed a plug for my charger and they loaned me one, thanks so much!

The floor in the room was not clean on arrival but I did check in early and it was cleaned later.. my room was very comfortable
