Kilimanjaro Lodge - MCF

Situated in a peaceful environnement with well-kept gardens. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean.

On the first day, we found a very dirty swimming-pool (couldn't see the bottom) and from day 2, it was emptied. We were extremely disappointed because we had chosen that place for its swimming-pool and we couldn't swim. Breakfast was poor and the evening meal we ordered was disappointing.

NO hot or even warm water. Lounge chairs at pool were doubling as torture devices 🤣. Meals had to be ordered in advance (except breakfast) and were about 30% more than other restaurants. The one meal I had there was very good though.

We absolutely loved this place and the people who work here! It's so peaceful with a nice swimmingpool in a beautiful garden. We slept here two nights before and two nights after climbing Kilimanjaro and we were totally rested. The rooms are spacious with a cute little balcony and a comfortable bed. The chef makes very very delicious meals and the breakfast is amazing! We had a lot of dirty clothes after Kilimanjaro so we used the laundry service and I don't think my clothes have ever been so clean. The best part is that when we paid for our stay we got told that part of the money goes to the Mama Clementina foundation. All the more reason to stay at this lovely place! :D

Nice hotel with lovely garden and pool, hospitality is ok but would have expected more for this price.

Everything... The serenity, the food, the environment, the staff... Everything was top... We couldnt ask for more... And the best wines.. The only place where we could get very good local wines. We love tje place and we will be back soon

Great big garden, swimming-pool, view on Kili, very reasonably priced. Really awesome staff, great breakfast and dinners. Very clean, well managed and an overall great vibe. Will definitely return

The scenery, staff attention to the guests, especially Ms. Lady. She offered outstanding service.

Hot water runs only for a few minutes.

Unfortunately I was very ill on arrival and the staff helped get me to the near by hospital right away. They were very accommodating and helpful. We set a new flight early the next morning and they organized a ride to the airport for us. My husband was alone with our two young boys and everyone was very helpful. We were lucky to stay here with such wonderful people.
