Two bedroom flat in Darlington

It was warm and a good size. Walking distance from the train station and town but also has parking.

The door handle came off on the inside of the bathroom door. If you had been able to close the door you would have been locked in. Plug in sink broken. Neither of the bedroom doors close. Cover on dimmer switch missing. Flooring in a poor state of repair. Grill pan dirty. Oven not spotless but useable. Lots of cupboards in the kitchen but very little in them, no wine glasses! Only one saucepan and a fry pan, no other equipment for cooking. Two chairs which are not very comfortable. One of the beds is old with flat pillows. Slight smell of damp when you walk in the back of the building. It faces a busy road so traffic noise but the bedrooms are in the back and quiet.

Reasonable location, good space and had most of the things you’d need.

Crockery and cutlery not cleaned properly. Not too surprising as lack of plug to sink, scrubber and tea towel. Some extra things like sharp knives and a slice would have been useful. A lamp in the bedroom(s) would be good too.

The bedroom was nice and clean, the place

The bathroom were i couldnt got myself out i close the door, it should change lock asap cause lock inside the bedroom fot couple i had to call friend yo open it for outside at the time they wasnt inside the place out spend alot in the time lock in because i didnt want broke the door.

Difficult to find the actual apartment block to start with. That took some time. Using the key to gain entry to the apartment, (No. 5) proved very difficult. The door lock/mechanism is faulty. Took nearly half an hour to work out how to open the door. The apartment was extremely warm inside, and the radiator came on making it unbearably warm. The only way to turn it off was by taking out the wall fuse next to the radiator, turn off any central heating switches and turn off the main heating trip switch in the mains box. All were reset on departure. There was no running hot water in kitchen or bathroom, though the shower was good. The freezer was iced up. A tidy apartment. Location good.

Only fault was that WiFi went off Sunday evening so we were unable to watch tv
