Two bedroom flat in Darlington

Convenient location in the town centre. Easy walk from the station. Parking would have been easy if we had driven. It was very cheap for a two bed flat.

This property could do with a bit of TLC, but that is reflected in the price. If you are wanting beautiful decor and fluffy towels this isn't your place. If you are happy with basic then it's a bargain.

The apartment is spacious (two double bedrooms, big living room and kitchen) and very centrally located. Check in was easy and the staff replied to all questions and requests very promptly. Tea bags available in the kitchen! Overall, I think it is a good option if you don't want a fancy place to stay.

The apartment is not in its best state, with non-carpet floors in poor conditions (especially the bathroom one!) and some stained/chipped walls. I would have loved to find soaps in the bathroom (only hand soap provided), kitchen towels and something to prepare coffee (a cheap French press would work perfectly well!). In general kitchenware provided was very essential (the apartment can accommodate 4 people but dishware is provided for only 2. It was not a problem for me, traveling alone, so maybe they add things when more people are expected!). Colorful polyester bed linens are nice but can't give the guest an idea of how clean they are!

Great location. Cozy apartment. The parking spot was very nice to have.

We didn't know how to turn on the fridge or hot water as we are not from the area. Some instructions for that as well as the internet log in would have made the stay smoother. As it was, when we asked for each of those things via message, the host was gracious and provided the information with no fuss.

got told we cud book in at 3 was there at 2.30 got in cleaner did not come till 2.55 sink was still dirty when we got back in but apart from that cud not twist well apart from cud not use freezer as was just ower grown with ice and door wud not shut
