GBRoom was very unclean, showed nothing like it in the images. Left the property within 20mins of arriving. I do not recommend staying here!!!

We travel all over England with Booking.com, but this is the first time they've disappointed us. There were no towels in the room, no mugs for tea after the journey, no sugar, no milk. Even the neighbor from number 7 was surprised that there were no mugs. There were some leftover tea and stale coffee outside the room.The room had a broken wardrobe that was falling on our heads, and one desk chair. The standard below Booking.com was a complete disaster. In the morning, instead of sightseeing, we had to go shopping for towels, mugs, tea, etc. I don't recommend it. Booking.com should also double-check the hotel.

Pictures misleading it is not an apartment it is the attic room in a shared house with an on suite shower and toilet. It has a dining table shoved in with a fridge in an alcove and kitchen appliance on an ikea unit. Wall wasn't painted(looked scratch looked like it had been prepped for decorating possibly, still not appealing.) Doesn't have skirting boards all the way round, just not finished decorating wise. Rubbish in the room on check in.... bottle under the bed and an open packet of crisps in bedside draw.... Fine for an en suite room in a shared house if thats what you want, just not an apartment. This room is in the house with the grey front, top floor attic room, not what they refer to at the "annex" which is the other building on the photos. Cardboard covering a window to create privacy from bathroom to hallway. Check in was not straght forward, had to ring a number took 10mins for them to get in touch again, they sent over a document to agree to and sign. In this you needed to upload a piece of photo id and a selfie of you with the ID. I wasnt happy with doing this but after a 7 hour drive had no option but this was not mentioned before arrival. Then after sending this back took another 10mins to get the key code. Again doesn't seem much but after long day felt a faff.

Light in the shower turned of constantly whilst showering. Mentioned that there wpukd be towles an toiletries there was none

It was not obvious from the booking that this would be staying in someone's house. They would be there with a flimsy partition separating the corridor to the annex we were staying I'm snd their main living area. There was would on one of the mattresses in the downstairs room and the stair carpet leading to that room. This was supposed to be a 3 bedroom apartment which was only a 2 bedroom apartment but 2 beds were added to the main living space which had no privacy as not even any door curtain. I could only attach 4 photos but have others.
