Quite and clean. Good for me sensitive sleeper. Landlord was really nice and let us leave our bags inside the room even after the check out time. Really appreciate it

The location was great, the room was great, the bed was really comfortable and we had everything we needed. All good!

We were on the top floor and so the ceilings curved a little which made the room smaller than we expected. But it was a great price for the area and a great location.

The location is good as it is right in the centre of Ambleside

I was in apartment 1 directly as you enter the building, which was clearly formerly a staff apartment of some sort. It says “if the door is unlocked I’m here” or something to that effect. So I experienced multiple other guests tapping their key cards and trying the door handle during my stay, presumably they were looking for a staff member. There was mould on the ceiling in the lounge area. There was a smell of damp. The towel rail in the bathroom had a bit actually hanging off at the bottom. Loads of cobwebs and spiders behind the bed. The ornaments are quite creepy 😂 but that’s a taste thing. The shower was the worst shower I’ve ever used, either boiling scalding hot or ice cold with zero pressure If you use this as simply a base to explore the lakes and eat your lunch/dinner out then it’s passable as it’s cheap.

It was a comfortable bed.

Parking was difficult, the ensuite was very small. It all felt a little old, shabby & in need of some love & care.
