"Nice enough old cottage but be aware of the steep stairs when booking."

Location and good beds nice space downstairs.

Stairs very steep and no warning on information prior to booking. Not suited to a young family or elderly group. Shower head leaked but I fixed it and bathroom as a whole needs some maintenence and tidying up. No instructions for cooker or TV.

We didn't the fridge was dirty pillows we're very uncomfortable and it all needs a upgrade wasn't very happy

The cottage has received a sensitive restoration, and the decoration preserves plenty features of the past times in the house: which I like. Original brick and bare boards flooring also. Modern kitchen and bathroom of course. Original staircase not suitable for those of limited mobility or toddlers. The village has everything and is attractive and interesting. Good dog walking at Milton wildlife park

One bedroom wc was more insuite than ensuite but I suppose people insist on these things. The parking will improve your manoeuvering skills, and the enduro motorbike outside the kitchen doesn't help either (but my biker friends would love it)

Lovely period cottage, quick responses from owners

Strong smell of dogs in lounge area, bedding not ironed, dirty pans. Would suggest a deep clean

Being a thatched cottage, parts of it were very quirky. It was lovely and clean with good facilities. Great location made it easy to get into Cambridge.

The beds were comfortable, and the appliances good spec.

I realise this was supposed to be authentic but the whole cottage while being clean was poorly lit and shabby, doors, very old, battered and in poor repair, broken glasses in cupboard, plugs that were absent or too small to have a bath, floors uneven.and uncorrected. The stairs are so steep a bit of carpetting would have felt a little safer, I really didn't enjoy this, break, it felt like a half completed renovation.
