The breakfast spread was very good and the chefs, managers as well as other staff were very cordial and very efficient plus professional. Even when the breakfast buffet was over crowded around 10 am, they managed it very well. Though the F & B concierge - who didn’t interact much, seemed quite aloof and not the same as the others in the restaurant.

The reception staff could have been better, more helpful. They wanted to take an advance more than the booking amount, when I refused they put my rooms on a ‘no credit list’. In all my previous 5-star stays I have never paid an advance deposit, and unless asked by the booking guest, have not heard of the hotel placing any room on ‘no credit’ list by themselves. The servicing also could improve further. Their phone operator does not pick the phone always, the cutlery left outside the rooms are lying around for longer than what is expected and they should have OTTs on their TV & ask the guests whether we would like a newspaper to be delivered every morning.

The property was very clean and fairly peaceful despite the proximity to MG Road. Three restaurants and the two we visited were of very good quality. The gym looked good although I didn’t use the facility
