Mary Cottage, Braunton, Devon

Great location as we were at a family wedding, held in Ash Barton. Only just over a mile away. It was close to the amenities too. Had an issue with the heating but it was very quickly sorted out with Victoria. She was very helpful.

Loved that the place was very tidy and location wise it was excellent.

Really nice space with two double beds and two double sofas so plenty of room for four. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed. Garden was very quiet and relaxing. The location was very handy for Braunton and Ash Barton Estate. We knew about the parking space limitations before leaving, but unfortunately, we have a big car, so we knew it was unlikely we could use the space. However, it was not a problem in November and we could park nearby!

Very close to shops, restaurants and the sea. Nice to have a wood burner, the hot tub was really lovely. Host very helpful.

Bedroom is very damp and smells needs a de-humidifier, kitchen very tired and lots of the crockery and glasses dirty , cooking trays very dirty, no oven gloves, poor selection of , only two dishes which were both cracked, glasses, no toilet roll holder.

Really comfortable property - well maintained and all the items you would expect were available. Comfortable beds and a lovely garden.

Parking space isn't useable unless you have a car no bigger than a VW Golf. However, several parking options in town car parks which are good value and can be managed on a phone app which works really well as an alternative.

Location was great - lovely view from the back. Warm and comfortable. Well stocked with crockery, cutlery etc but could have done with a few more glasses.

Parking space was a little tight but good to have one!

Parking for 1 car was tight, but we knew about that beforehand so wasn’t a surprise. We had 2 cars and parking the second car could be hit and miss dependant on timing. Our friends received a parking ticket for being on single yellow.. guilty as charged although she didn’t notice the line and they were only there an hour.. be warned. The hot tub wasn’t included in our hire, not sure why, but need to amend the welcome pack to indicate that hot tub isn’t always available.
