I was disappointed with my stay. A CCTV camera is mounted on the corner overlooking the steps and door, which made the experience feel uncomfortably monitored. The caravan itself was acceptable but needed a thorough clean and a general refresh. The curtains were torn, tatty, and in some places missing altogether. The decking was tatty with front fascia found on the ground having fallen off, the gate was hanging off too. There is no actual path to the property, you can only access it across grass past two other caravans,, which is unpleasant if its been raining or you are unsteady on your feet. Only four towels were provided, all small and with an unpleasant smell, so I’d recommend bringing your own if you dare stay. I was later asked where the two hand towels were, even though none were supplied. I found the communication with the owners rude and abrupt. When requesting the key safe code, I was told I needed to pay a £100 security deposit, which hadn’t been made clear at the time of booking. I was also charged £100 for my two miniature dogs for a two‑night stay, which is far higher than anywhere else we’ve stayed. We travel regularly with our dogs and have never encountered such an excessive fee. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.

We didn't get to stay the host cancelled our booking the morning of our arrival day but wasn't the hosts fault there was a leak in the caravan... The host gave me a full refund and was very professional on the phone Its a shame we didn't get to stay 😔 maybe we will in future 😀

Very poor communication from the owner, who contacted us at 6pm on our day of arrival for a private bank transfer before access info for the accommodation would be sent. We specified and booked accommodation for four people and one dog on booking.com but the owner chose to keep most of our bank deposit on the basis we hadn't also emailed him directly about the dog. We did not receive any communications ahead of our day of arrival to say that a deposit or additional fees were required, and at no time were alerted to any risk of penalty charges. Caravan in a tired state with stained carpets and an unreliable shower.
