Apart-Hotel Riviera Old Port

The location of this property is fantastic- in the heart of old town and a 2 min walk to the water front. That said, it’s very loud into the early hours of the morning which makes sleeping challenging. The main living space has AC but the bedroom doors need to be left open to get air into the rooms which does not help with dampening the noise while sleeping. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. The floors felt like they hadn’t been swept and the beds are very uncomfortable. If you have difficulty with stairs, this property is not for you. We loved that the property had a washing machine!

I stayed at this property in July 2024. We arrived and picked up the keys to our apartment around 6pm. We then walked to the apartment and unlocked the door to the apartment. When we attempted to open the door, the door handle fell off! We were unable to enter the apartment. There was and still is no contact number after 6pm to contact the reception! I swiftly ran to the office to see if anyone could help, but they had shut by this point. I was left with no other option but to spend a night in a hotel nearby. I went to the reception the day after, and they apologised and fixed the door handle. I was told that I would get a refund for the 1 night stay and they were sorting this out with Expedia. The apartment was ok in itself. A small apartment, very steep staircase to get up with luggage. The apartment had the basics that you need however the air conditioning was very loud! After checking out on the final day and not receiving a refund for the first night, the reception staff said that I have to contact Expedia myself. I am now home, and still not received my refund. I have contacted Expedia directly who have said they have tried multiple times to contact the property and they have declined the 1 night refund on multiple attempts. Expedia have told me there is nothing else that they can do as the property has declined my refund. I am therefore writing this review to warn people of how deceitful this property is and to not book with them. I feel really let down by them :(

Kitchen was unusable, pictures on the website are not matched.

We had to change properties after the first night as the air conditioning unit in our first place was broken. Otherwise, the property was beautiful and well equipped. The second property had working air conditioning, but was not quite as nice. The bed was hard as a rock. The location of both properties in the Old Town was great. Everything was walkable. I also want to give a should out to the property manager for being responsive and able to move us because of the air conditioning issue.

The apartment was lovely. Good location near Nice port and about 25 min walk to Cours Saleya. The check in experience was extremely frustrating. Checking in is in Cours Saleya with a very short daytime window- the staff was really unhelpful and rude. The address on the booking site is also misleading.

Fin leilighet i hjertet av Nice gamlebyen. Kort avstand til strand, shopping og by liv. Noe manglende lys i noen rom, men ikke et problem for oss. Har alt mann trenger på kjøkken
