Apart-Hotel Riviera Old Port

The apartment was roomy. One of the three rooms was down below and didn't have any windows and had a slight old smell but super private. First time walking in the stairway was a bit interesting and looked like a breezeway was built between two buildings, ie a lot of electrical wires hanging down. I would still stay here again because it was a great location.

Location Location Location!! Right at the heart of the Old Town means you're close everything. Restaurants, quirky shops, the vibe of the narrow streets a well as being a short walk from the beach, promenade & Castle Hill

Mainly positive but a couple of minor moans. Good stuff first. Super clean, very comfy bed, enough kitchen equipment for basic cooking, a couple of coffee makers, nice chairs and tables, nicely laid out bathroom with sufficient towels. A big airy room with 2 big opening windows. Very secure feel to the whole block of flats, and a great central location. If only it had been a few floors lower. There are 70, yep, seven zero stair steps to get to your flat and no lift. It's utterly exhausting! Because it's central and the old city is a vibrant buzzing place, it's a bit noisy at weekends, with music from nearby bars. There are wooden shutters outside the double glazed windows, but only light diffusing curtains, so it's not really dark unless the sky is pitch black. The shower attachment was broken, so you have to hold the shower head in your hand. That's a shame cos it's a lovely big shower. Minimal shower gel, coffee, etc. would have been nice to have some tea bags, a small milk, a bit more gel. Just little things that you're forced into buying quickly before the shops shut. Ultimately it's a great 'one room does all' appartment for a few days in an outstanding city. No frills and with a little tlc would get 5 stars. However, the strength sapping stairs would prevent us from returning. It's about 5 times as many as in a regular house. Not good after a meal with drinks.

Fantastic people in reception

Great and convenient location. Close to the hustle and bustle, but not in the middle of it. The Bar was pretty good for a quick stop when heading out or coming back, and was always well visited. The room was clean but very small- however, that was fine for us! Tons of restaurants and pubs nearby and all the sights and sounds are easily walkable.

Great view! Convenient for eating and sightseeing. Office staff provided extra help helping us transferring the bike package.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was nice with plenty of space. There were a couple of niggly bits, the shower drain was really slow, the door was very stiff to open and close and lock, and the lady said they'd pop in and change the bedding and towels mid week which didn’t happen

La ubicación no es la que aparece aca. Esa es una oficina donde te dan las llaves a un apartamento en Centre Ville. A nosotros nos toco lejos de la playa. El acceso al apartamento es terrible una escalera de 1 mt de ancho y 3 níveles para arriba en piso liso y polvoriento. Que de milagro no te matas. No digamos si llevas equipaje grande y pesado. No te ayudan a subir ni a bajar las maletas. No te llevan al apartamento para entregarlo. Solo te dan las llaves suerte si lo encuentras. Encima tiene uno que bajar de nuevo a dejarles las llaves. El baño era pequeñísimo, el sanitario a penas si podias poner las piernas de frente super incómodo. Si tienes una emergencia de noche o algo no hay quien te ayude. Entiendo que son casas viejas restauradas pero podrian poner una advertencia o minimo ayudarte.

A mi llegada no tenían la habitación hecha en el horario del Check in, me cobraron 50 euros por limpieza y uno de los días no la hicieron, el lugar está descuidado y me pusieron como en el piso 10 sin elevador, las personas apenas hablan inglés. No vale la pena

This was the best apartment for our holiday in Nice! The location is central and easy to find. The ApartHotel people were so kind when our stay was changed due to delayed flights. They were helpful and so kind. The dining and shopping in the area is excellent! There's a small grocery just around the corner, and everything in Old Town is a 5 minute walk away!
