Cozy apt with great city view

My room had a stunning view of the New York skyline that far exceeded my expectations. The host was very friendly and always easy to reach *only on iMessage* during my stay. The neighbourhood was very quiet and felt fairly safe, though there isn’t a great deal to do nearby. Getting into New York was simple, with plenty of buses running into the city. Although the local bus system can be a little confusing at first, you do get used to it quickly. The host also kindly let me leave my luggage until my flight, which I really appreciated. 部屋からのニューヨークのスカイラインの眺めは本当に素晴らしく、期待以上でした。ホストの方もとても親切で、iMessageのみですが、滞在中の連絡は取りやすかったです。周辺のエリアはとても静かで比較的安全に感じましたが、近くで出来ることはあまり多くありません。ニューヨーク市内へのアクセスは便利で、バスの本数も多く簡単に移動できます。最初は現地のバスに慣れるのが少し難しいかもしれませんが、すぐに使いこなせるようになると思います。さらに、ホストの方は出発便まで荷物を預かってくださり、とても感謝しています。

I experienced two major issues: cleanliness and communication. Before booking, I saw several comments about poor cleaning. As I have a house-dust allergy, I contacted the property through Booking.com chat and email, but received no reply. Even Booking.com customer service couldn’t get a response from the host, which made me very anxious. A friend in the US eventually called the host on my behalf (I couldn’t call from my UK number) to confirm my check-in time and request a proper cleaning. The host did answer her call. Still, when I arrived, I found hair on the bed and sofa, and the bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned. Considering I had informed them about my allergy, this was quite disappointing. I hope the property improves both cleanliness and communication. 清潔さとホストとの連絡面に大きな問題を感じました。 予約前から清掃に関する低評価を見ていたため、ハウスダストアレルギーがある私はBooking.comのチャットやメールで問い合わせましたが、返事はありませんでした。カスタマーサービス経由でも連絡がつかず、最終的に、自身の英国の電話番号では電話ができなかったため、アメリカの友人が代わりにホストへ電話し、チェックイン時間と清掃のリクエストを伝えてくれました。しかし、到着するとベッドやソファに髪の毛が残っており、バスルームも十分に清掃されていませんでした。事前にアレルギーを伝えていたことを考えると、とても残念でした。清潔さと対応面の改善を望みます。

Very noisy other residents in unit

Camera spaziosa con bagno privato, temperatura ottima, letto comodo, vista sullo skyline di NY dalla camera. Rooftop pazzesco, consiglio di andare a vedere l’alba. Molto comodo andare a NY con autobus 123, non è quasi mai affollato e passa spesso (costo biglietto 4.10$, consiglio di fare pass da 10 biglietti per risparmiare). Quartiere tranquillo e residenziale. Self check in molto semplice (riceverete le istruzioni il giorno di arrivo). Dopo il check out abbiamo potuto lasciare i bagagli in appartamento e siamo venuti a ritirarli nel pomeriggio.

Pulizia da migliorare, abbiamo trovato pelucchi e capelli sul pavimento Camera un po’ spoglia, arredamento da perfezionare. Jimmy non risponde su booking, contattatelo direttamente su whatsapp e sarà molto disponibile.

We really enjoyed our stay. The appartement was very clean and the organization was perfect. Also the location is very nice and safe.

Skvělé umístění - u domu na zastávce v ulici Palisade Ave autobus 123 - za 20 min. na manhattanu za cca 100 Kč. Kousek od domu obchod a nějaké bistra. V ubytování k dispozici čaj, káva, něco ke snídani - cereálie například.

Došel toaletní papír a majitel ho nedonesl, když jsme ho požádali.

Desde el inicio la comunicación fue deficiente. Nos comunicamos días antes y el anfitrión prometió enviarnos la información de la habitación, pero nunca la recibimos. Al llegar, su trato fue grosero y nos envió datos equivocados del alojamiento; por ese error tuvimos que quedarnos en una habitación que no era. Al día siguiente reconoció la equivocación y nos pidió cambiarnos, pero la habitación correcta no estaba limpia y debimos esperar a que la organizaran. Nunca nos suministró la contraseña del internet y, además, nos indicó que debíamos salir varios días antes de lo que ya estaba pagado en la reserva. Muy mal servicio y pésima comunicación con el propietario. No recomiendo este alojamiento.
