Thirsk Stays - Bakery Cottage

Beautiful location just off the market Square.. walking distance to shops ..restaurants..pubs and the river. Very clean .. everything provided you could need for a stay .. cosy and warm and lovely host .. Happy to recommend and I'll definitely be staying again.

Location is central to all facilities. However made my own breakfast.

Internet was weak.

It was clean and fairly comfortable! Everything that you would need for a break away was provided ! Very central too town and surrounding areas to visit. Cottage set in a nice courtyard too!

There was issues with the shower temperature very tempramental and seemed quite old! Living area was small .

Good central location and river nearby. Kitchen area well kitted out. Helpful emails from the owner. Pet friendly and dogs’ accessories available. Nicely furnished.

Bathroom modernisation and upgraded windows would give this cosy little property a higher score.

The location is perfect, a stones throw away from the centre of Thirsk, we didn't need to use the car at all as there is plenty to do within walking distance. The cottage was comfortable, set in a lovely little courtyard area.

It may seem like a small criticism but the description stated the property had a washing machine, this was one of the main reasons for choosing the cottage, my husband was travelling from working away and wanted to wash his work clothes for the following week (as he would not be returning home) there is no washing machine and when we quueried it was informed there was places in Thirsk we could use, however that then took up a quite a few hours of our 2 night stay away sorting out something that could have been done where we were staying while we were out and about. We would not have booked the cottage if the correct description had been given.

The location was excellent

The seating was uncomfortable could of done with another comfy chair the pew was uncomfortable! Also the bed not long enough for people of a certain height!
