"Interesting character, but pretty tired round the edges"

- A lot of interesting indian sub continent character, pictures, wallpaper, statues which was great. - comfy beds, fluffy towels - huge comfy sofa - easy parking in the cul de sac - easy check in with the key safe If you can get over the cons the character makes this place a winner!

- Very cold in house when we arrived (15°) and took several hours to warm up which was a shame as we were only there for a night - Bathroom lights went out on their own several times and lights in master bedroom seemed to be connected to this as they also flickered - street lights came through curtains in both bedrooms so not very dark (would be a lot brighter in summer) - Blinds in living room very see through so could see in from street at night. No blinds at all in main glass extension, which fronts onto street, where dining table is so not very homely/cosy at night and we didn't use - could do with a good clean (cobwebs in lots of rooms) - cracked plaster, flaking paint and mould in rooms. Generally looked pretty tired

"Highly recommend"

Very comfortable and cosy, the perfect Christmas staycation. Well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Location was perfect and only a short walk from the river.

It wasn't really an issue but underneath the sofa needs a clean out, everywhere else was perfectly clean.

This is a family home and has a lot of personal touches. If you like bland and corporate, this might not be for you - not a criticism, just an observation!
