Peak District Home from Home!

We had the whole house, that was comfy, clean and I an ideal location. The owner even left milk in the fridge, tea, coffee and cereal in the cupboard. Lovely place.

The home was in a fabulous location with a short drive to Eyam (plague history), Bakewell and the Monsell trail. There is also a aldi in bakewell. The garden is secure (when the gate lock is fixed).There's parking to the back of the property which is handy. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you can think of and need for cooking, as well as food and alcohol and drink and freeze food, you name it its there. Great for if your planning on staying a week and need things like herbs and not to have to buy a full new pack. On top of this complimentary milk/bread and biscuits were left on our arrival. The house was clean and bed/linen all very nice quality. Check-in was easy, rooms are spacious.theres 2 bedrooms with a double bed and an extra single bed under the stairs (downstairs hall area) there's plenty of room to fit travel cots in both rooms if needed.

The gate lock to access the property was broken which meant the gate didnt fasten and not secure when bringing our dogs. Its a simple fix that could be done quickly by purchasing a new gate clap/lock. We had to improvise to ensure it stayed shut to ensure the dogs didnt escape. The patio area could do with a tidy up of the leaves/debris and the little gap at the right side better blocked off for small dogs due to it not being an area for them to explore. I just moved another plant pot to stop my dog from going down but given what we're paying per night for the property it's just little things like this that need thinking about. The TV didn't allow any live programmes, we managed to access on demand, and there's Netflix available but you have to sign in to your own account.

The house was perfect, clean and comfortable. The location was beautiful.

Very very small point... We cooked pasta and there is no colander or sieve Mirror needed in 2nd bedroom please Would definitely recommend to friends and family to stay
