"Idyllic home away from home - wish we could stay for longer!"

The whole house is beautifully decorated and feels very calm and homely as soon as you arrive. Very sweet touches left out for us by the host. Everyone slept comfortably and it was perfect for our requirements. We arrived at night so it was a wonderful surprise to wake up to that view of the valley.

Sadly, we couldn't find coffee anywhere, but we went out and got a delicious breakfast nearby! Also, be wary that this is located in a residential close with neighbours right next door so you will need to be mindful of noise.

"We enjoyed it and would be happy to do it again!"

It was very comfortable and had everything we required. Our host was very welcoming in what she left out/said what we could use. Grindleford is a sprawling village on in valley and we had pretty good views.

As a Londoner, I was worried about the lock on the conservatory door (where we came in and out). Probably my paranoia but I didn’t sleep well! My Aussie cousin slept like a log!
