Entorno Tulum - Luxury Villas

The place was perfect for our girls trip, no too far from the main Tulum Strip (only 10 min), we loved the design and the villa had everything we needed. Everything was clean and ready for us we when arrived, The staff was super helpful with any requests we had. would love to come back again and stay there.

Entorno is a beautiful property with all the comforts of home, plus beautiful pools, and furnishings. We felt very safe and secure. Hot water, lush greenery, clean, and helpful staff. Communication was effortless and kitchen was extremely well stocked. Air conditioning worked very well, as did the ceiling fans. Staff was friendly and professional. Checking in was extremely easy. I have no doubt when the road out front is completed and the buildings are finished around Entorno, this will be a highly sought after establishment.

Entorno, is built on a stretch of road that is not developed. If you are renting a car be careful on the bumps and potholes, it’s really a mess at the moment. I would not recommend trying to bicycle. In front of the homes large condominiums are being built, which cause a lot of dust in the pools, on your towels, and furniture outside, as well as noise. We were forewarned, and I appreciate being upfront. On our first night’s arrival our stove did not work, nor the pool filters for our entire stay, Which makes taking a dip with the collected dust a little undesirable. However I will say property management was helpful and tended to every request or question we had. Not the properties lack of motivation or desire to make it the best experience.

The Villa is undoubtedly beautiful and comfortable with a beautiful pool on the ground floor and a terrace pool with a pleasant area for our friends to gather and relax. But the true asset to the Villa was our host Florica. She is not just exceptional at her job but she is just an incredible human being who went above and beyond to make sure our experience in Tulum was unmatched. Ive travelled all my life but I honest to God can say ive never met anyone who is this considerate about her guests. Even when our stay with Florica ended and our next villa booked in Tulum turned out to be a fake and itseemed like every other person in Tulum only tried to exploit our situation, Florica went above and beyond to help us find a new accommodation and was always one message away no matter what time. It's incredible how she did that considering the time difference between Tulum and London. Honestly we would have been on the roads in a foreign country if not for her. 100% will stay with her again. We can't thank you enough Florica you saved our trip.

Big bedrooms, comfortable beds, self checkin, a bathroom for each bedroom, netflix account, well equipped kitchen, cleanliness, support team were very nice and available through WhatsApp

The road leading to the property is very bumpy and hard to drive through. In the villas, running water sound was loud in all bedrooms whenever someone flushes a toilet all other bedrooms could hear it. The shower glass was leaking water during showering. Also the listing on booking indicated one villa where in reality it was two separate villas.

Entorno Tulum exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was captivated by the luxurious atmosphere and attention to detail. The villa's design is impeccable, with spacious rooms and stunning views that make it an ideal retreat. The amenities provided were top-notch, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable and elegantly furnished bedrooms. The two private pools and landscaped gardens create a serene oasis, perfect for relaxation and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The staff was incredibly hospitable and ensured that every aspect of my stay was seamless. Their attention to service made me feel pampered and well-cared-for throughout my visit.

I LOVED the two pools in this villa. Especially the ground floor one. As soon as we got back from exploring cenotes or hiking around, we could walk through the door and get into the pool immediately to cool down. Fantastic furniture and overall aesthetic. The kitchen was stocked with all the items we needed, and they even provided a huge free 5gal drinking water jug with a pump/faucet attachment. The beds were very spacious and the whole place had such a relaxing feel. I also loved all the lush plants outside almost every window and by the pool! I would absolutely live here if could, it was dreamy! Lastly, the property concierge is super responsive, which was great. We needed some more towels later in our stay and they quickly had them sent over. They also sent over a bottle of champagne and chocolates our last full day/night there which was a sweet added extra touch 🙂 I’d stay here again and highly recommend!

I only have a couple of minor qualms, first being that the “jungle view” was 100% construction sites. So the view didn’t match what was pictured here. However, most of the other villas seemed empty (we came in off season) so I do feel like they would’ve accommodated a move for us if I would’ve asked, but I didn’t. I was initially bummed, but we ended up spending most of the daytime in the bottom floor pool because it provided some shade from the hot sun, and used the upper floor pool at night, so the view didn’t matter as much. The tiny thing I didn’t like is that there is a hammock shown in one of the photos that we didn’t have in our Villa. Again, I could’ve asked and maybe they would’ve brought one.

Unfortunately, we decided to end our stay early due to several concerns regarding the Entorno Tulum property. We did not feel safe in the remote, dirt road location, with stray dogs in the vicinity and individuals lingering at the construction site facing the property very late at night, which gave us an uncomfortable feeling of being watched. At the same time, the lock for the bathroom window in the main bedroom did not work, leaving us susceptible to an easy break in while we were being watched. In such a remote location, it felt as though we were potentially being set up for a robbery or assault. This experience followed our initial reception by an unfriendly security guard(?) at the property. Furthermore, we found the area between the second-floor landing and the stairs to be unsafe and accident-prone without a rail, half wall, or some form of barrier to prevent falls into the courtyard or pool of the adjacent apartment. We observed that the properties at Entorno on the other side of the center courtyard have implemented such safety measures, which raised concerns about the discrepancy in our unit's safety features. None of the apartments in our row seemed to have a barrier to prevent falls into the adjoining units as we could clearly see across the row of apartments, our vision undisrupted by any railings or half walls along the entire row. When we looked through the second and third landing windows to the rear of the property, facing the interior courtyard, we were able to see the opposite row of units at the property. Those units did have breeze block half walls, but we were not booked into those even though they all appeared to be unoccupied. Due to these safety and security issues, we chose to cut our stay short, leaving on the second day. Luckily, we were able to find accommodations at a beautiful, amenity-filled and much safer property on Avenue Kukulkan for nearly the same price.
