RIVER RETREAT- near Holloway U, Thorpe Park and Heathrow airport

Lovely location. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. River views.

The first job we had to do was clean the shower as it was covered in black hairs along the rim and basin. Secondly the window to the river was filthy spoiling the view so we cleaned that too! Tv very small and remote batteries had run out. Noise from planes early but not too bad. I’d have put a dishwasher in instead of a washing machine as more useful. Car park extra charge when it’s a drive we found excessive and should be included, especially as we had 2 cars. Just small things to improve your stay.

Beautiful location, very friendly hosts who obviously take great pride in looking after their guests. A real home from home, highly recommended and we can't wait to visit again. It's a great place to kick back, relax and just enjoy the riverside wildlife. Thank you Anita, look forward to staying again.

Very welcoming host who gave us a full tour cooked us some amazing food and made us feel at home. Property was very clean, catered for everything we needed. The views were spectacular, boats passing by, swans flying in and very peaceful. Already looking at when we can come back

Idyllic quiet location, felt like home away from home, relaxing atmosphere, delicious homemade food

Excellent location especially if you are visiting Thorpe Park or are looking somewhere pet friendly in the area. Nice self-contained annexe and lovely by the river, very peaceful and quiet. Dr Naren welcomed us on arrival and showed us around, key came with a remote for the gate so we could easily come and go as we pleased. Wifi was rock solid, we were streaming TV and had no issues. We would definitely stay again.

Only minor suggestions would be a larger TV if the mounting could support it, as its on the small side and a bit distant from the couch. And maybe I missed it when booking, but would be great if the additional pet cost was explicitly listed so its known upfront given it was a non-refundable booking.

Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful views. Easy access to thorpe park, train station and local attractions. very relaxing property.

Beautiful location very peaceful.

It was beautiful with good Thames River View and the surrounding of the lodge was great too , like we literally love the place and of course you feel like you are in your own home . Thanks to the Entire Team , ops the dinner and the masala tea at the end! What a wow .

It’s not about what we don’t like but just a suggestion that it could be better to have good WiFi connection and locks on some doors and I know you guys will conquer this .

Beautiful location along the river. Our hosts were amazing. It felt like staying with our own family. Welcoming, informative and nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this place to anyone. We would definitely return and hopefully we will soon. If you are lucky to have the chance to stay here don’t not hesitate.

We would have liked a few more pots and pans in the Kitchen and somewhere to dry our clothes after Thorpe park but this is a very very minor detail.
