Tipsy Cottage with fire-pit and BBQ

Good location. Clean, cosy and spacious.

Very clean, lovely touches like the tea/coffee, decent size, basics like glasses, bowls and plates were all well stocked.

Nothing, was all lovely.

The house was cute and quirky. Very comfy beds, kitchen was stunning.

Bathroom was beautiful but the shower didn't work brilliantly. Unlucky for us the neighbours were doing work in their garden so were using power tools well after 8.30pm which meant we couldn't really sit outside by the fire as it was too noisy to chat. Not the fault of the cottage/ host at all.

On arrival we found the property to not be very clean. Fpr the price we paid (£199) for just one night I would expect it to be spotless. Did take a couple of photos but should have taken more. The beds were extremely uncomfy. Can feel springs theough the mattress. Seems like there was accupants staying or living in outside summer house in the garden. Also front door opens onto very busy road and the only lock to use inside is one small bolt. Not very secure or safe in my personal opinion. Especially with young children. Rooms very dark with poor lighting. After reading that the house had slight slant, I would say more than slight. Felt like we was walking up hill in every room. Our children didn’t like it. No hammock in the garden, bbq broke.

Key lock front door button was hard to engage. Upstairs was very ‘tipsy’ Light in main bedroom wasn’t very bright

I loved staying at this cottage this was one of the best locations I've stayed at. The owners were very welcoming especially at short notice. The cottage was very clean and I loved the little touches especially the dining table set up. I can't wait to come and stay here again. Thank you so much for our lovely weekend.
