Haven Lakeland 3 Bed Luxury Caravan

Lovely place to stay, will deffo be coming back in the future, Barry was great, very helpful, smashing caravan, close to all the amenities so not much walking, caravan very clean and has everything you need in it.

Mattress in main bedroom could do with being renewed, although this wasn’t a massive issue, everything else Bob on.

The caravan was spotlessly clean with plenty of space & an extra toilet I wasn't expecting. Equipment was quite limited - I was amused to see that for 4 adults, we were supplied with 3 mugs (no cups). For such a short stay, and out for most of it, it didn't really matter. Staff at the site clearly worked very hard and showed flexibility with role changes during the course of the day

We were an hour late for check in - we'd come a long way and circumstances beyond our control had delayed us. We did phone the owner in good time before check in. Access to our caravan key felt disorganised. We've stayed in these caravans twice before. This time was a private rental. Booking.com need to be clear that the excellent facilities at the park (even the ones you pay for) are only accessible for those who are owners/ have proof of rental. I think the Park rules may have tightened up. Owners who rent out perhaps could supply some id for every adult renter in their property?

caravan site had lots of facilities and plenty to do, caravan in good location on the camp site not far from everything. you would need to purchase activities and entertainment passes.

caravan was basic, as reflects in price, no seating for outside so had to borrow a chair, no microwave but had small air fryer , ideal for a base to sleep

This caravan had everything we needed for a weekend on the Lakes. The park is ideal for families with all the facilities onsite. It's also super dog friendly with a great walk around the campsite. The owner was super helpful and friendly and even left treats for us in the caravan

Very clean and tidy

Only one towel for two people! No details given regarding check in so had to go to reception and they had no idea of our booking. Eventually got a key. No remote control for the TV . Messaged the owner but got no response.

Extremely comfortable, clean caravan with very helpful, friendly host. Well equipped, comfy sofas to relax on with plenty of space inside and lovely sun balcony to relax on. Very pet friendly . Good size shower as well. Haven site as a whole was well run, neat and tidy and very peaceful where we were. Great stay with so much to explore in local area - perfect for a trip to this beautiful area of the world

The security staff were very helpful - they had to try find out where the caravan we booked was as there was no communication from the owner. The site is lovely and the staff are fantastic there is lots to do especially for kids and I would recommend haven lakelands to anyone it's really lovely. We did have a really enjoyable stay it was just the logistics and communication from the owner than let the stay down.

There was no covers on the majority of the bedding which was unfortunate , there was no way to tell which caravan it was (48 Derwent) so it took us over an hour to get checked in with a 1 & 3 year old there was no keys left out so our caravan was open for the duration of our stay and also when staff eventually got hold of the owner they asked that we text for the WiFi details (no reception or 4g in the area really) he never replied. We only managed to get in as security had an emergency key. Fortunately it locked from the inside so we could lock ourselves in .
