The Governor's House at The Tanyard, Boutique B&B

Loved our stay at the Governor’s house. We were comfortable and cozy in lovely Lacock. Joanna and Rufus were excellent hosts. Breakfasts were amazing, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. Access to off street parking was a huge plus. Communication was excellent.

Nothing (yes, the stairs were a little challenging for injured knees but I knew that when booking)

Magnificent breakfast brought to our door. The location was perfect.

Just the steep stairs to the bedroom. I ended up sleeping on the living room couch so I was on the same level as the bathroom for night-time access. The couch was comfy though.

The perfect balance between tradition and modernity. You can tell that a lot of effort, passion and fun went into putting the property together.

Todo. Absolutamente todo. El sitio. Los alrededores, el sonido de los pájaros, el trato de los dueños. El desayuno. La cama. Había restaurantes a menos de 2 minutos andando. La abadía de Lacock a menos de 10 minutos andando. Aparcamiento en la puerta. Todo perfecto.

The accommodation was located in the centre of the village, easy walk of everything. Parking onsite which was handy. The accommodation was cosy, clean, very comfortable bed, lovely views from every window. Close to a bakery, lovely restaurant & The Abbey. Very tasty breakfast delivered, hot pastries, granola & fruit. Would highly recommend.
