The Governor's House at The Tanyard, Boutique B&B

The accommodation was located in the centre of the village, easy walk of everything. Parking onsite which was handy. The accommodation was cosy, clean, very comfortable bed, lovely views from every window. Close to a bakery, lovely restaurant & The Abbey. Very tasty breakfast delivered, hot pastries, granola & fruit. Would highly recommend.

Tutto, la struttura é davvero molto curata in ogni dettaglio. Sembra di essere in uno spazio fuori dal tempo. La colazione servita nel cestino davvero deliziosa. Rufus e Joanna sono stati molto accoglienti e disponibili in tutto. Peccato aver soggiornato solo una notte!

Absolutely stunning. It’s one of those locations that you can’t believe you have the opportunity to stay in. I was on my own but would make a great romantic stay. The room was tastefully decorated and really felt special. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and the breakfast was delivered exactly on time and was well made and presented

The only thing I could think of was that the sofa’s weren’t very comfortable. A really minor point as it was genuinely excellent. One point to note is that this wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or people that need to use the toilet multiple times in the night, as the toilet is on a different floor to the bedroom and the stairs are very steep, with exceptionally creaking floors (but to be honest, that adds to the beauty of the location)

continental breakfast served - as a breakfast person it was all we needed for the day ahead.

One of the best locations in a magical place, quiet and maybe too quiet as the birds seemed to stay in bed? It was January!
