The Hut Restaurant & Boutique Hotel

The staff at this hotel (I mean all of them) are exceptional, they went above and beyond to help and make sure we felt welcome and taken care of. I'd like to thank the reception staff particularly for their support. The rooms are clean and spacious, beds are comfortable. I have no hesitation in returning to this hotel when I'm back in Kigali.

Wi-Fi was a little sketchy at times and I would ask that a wider selection of vegetarian food be made available at breakfast. These were small things, but would have made my stay even more special.

Nothing more than great experience. Those staff most importantly the receptionist and the kitchen staff treated us well.

Hotel Cleanliness...Restaurant ambience...Proximity to the Kigali Convention Centre.

Nothing.

The best thing about the hotel is its amazing staff. Both the reception team and the restaurant one were just amazing. They are ready to address any query and request, and always with a smile, and they are very efficient! Also, rooms were quite comfy, soundproof enough, with great beds and a decent desk to work at. The restaurant is decent . There is a room service option but I did not try it. From midday on the restaurant offers an extesnsive menue and looks like everyone enjoys it as by night the placxe is packed with customers. The Chef and his team are ready to cater for everyone's taste, even if it is well off the menu card. Location is great as it is close (15 min on foot) from the Kigali Convention Center and 10 min by car from some good restaurants of which I'd recommend Treasures of Igoro- superb cuisne and fantastic ambience. Safety factor is also important, and I felt absoluetly safe walking solo at night.

Gym is in a pretty bad shape and in need for an urgent revamp and new equipment. The breakfast is kinda scarce but if you like me are there for a conference, than you would not expect an abundant meal to refule yourself &rush for the venue.

Breakfast simple but eggs (sunny side) where badly made; too raw The room was clean and large.

I did not like that I could get nothing to eat at 10.30pm and no cold beer to drink and so drank hot beer from the fridge in the room turned off!!!!
