The Hut Restaurant & Boutique Hotel

The hotel was beautiful - views from the restaurant were out of this world! The staff were so friendly and accommodating always addressed me by name when i arrived in the hotel which was such a lovely personal touch! Location was excellent and really easy to get around. Room was clean and i have no complaints! Security on the door so always felt safe and the pool was small but lovely and clean - had it all to ourselves which was great! :)

The road outside is a bit bumpy and a steep hill - nothing major but something to be aware of! Another thing to be aware of is there is a school right outside (my balcony looked into the school playground) so this should be considered if you are looking for somewhere away from the noise of children (didn't bother me though & the kids were always waving up at me!)

Breakfast was good though repetitive.

Means of payment wasn't satisfactory. I ended up paying more than budgeted as per booking.com

Problems with the price - tried to charge more than agreed.

Not much. The bed was comfortable and the food from the lunch and dinner menu was good.

Overall run down with dirty carpeting in the hallways. Breakfast is served but it is what the chef feels like making, choice was never offered. Breakfast food is not good; greasy omelette and dry pastry. Very few guests in the hotel (I only say 3 others while staying here for 3 nights). Late checkout is not possible or charged almost full rate for extra 4 hour stay.

Good breakfast with healthy options

Buffet was not there but available with other choices. Restaurant price is little more.

The restaurant is excellent and the rooms are clean and quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful

There wasn’t much of an area to relax,chat,or work if not using the restaurant. They seemed to forget to serve breakfast at the allotted time on one day - it was 30 mins late as non of the staff had pitched up to prepare (how a hotel can “forget” breakfast, I have no idea)
