"Utterly delightful. Spoilt rotten and tremendous value for money."

10.0

Stunning location, glorious 600 year old historic building, the most beautiful gardens, gorgeous very large suite and the very best of hosts, whose attention to detail is even better than any 5* hotel. Easy & secure parking as well made life very relaxed. Highlights include sitting in the garden listening to the amazing birdlife and drinking our Pimm's and Prosecco and frankly enjoying the very best breakfasts you can imagine where every type of food from healthy to indulgent were on offer. Kay and Doug were so accommodating - they really were the perfect hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Sincere thanks to them both. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying at this glorious home. We can also recommend the Hare in Long Melford for excellent food and service at brilliant prices.

Nothing and we were very sad to leave after 3 days. Next time we will stay longer.

"Comfortable and quite just what we wanted"

Old, traditional beautiful building in lovely garden, quite.

Everything. The only small criticism is the bathroom, whilst private, is of the also private entrance hall rather than from the apartment. But that could not stop us coming again.

"Heaven on earth"

10.0

Over the years, my wife and I have stayed in numerous B&B. This lovely timberframe house with its wonderful garden is clearly the most memorable one. The deluxe suite is very spacious and the beautful timberframe structure is visible everywhere. It features a large, comfortable 4-poster bed, a table, sofa and a comfy chair and lots of storage room. From our breakfast table we had a wonderful view of the spacious garden with all its many seating areas that invite for some relaxing time. The owners, Kay and Doug prepared a delicious full English breakfast / continental breakfast to our liking and gave us valuable recommendations for events and sightseeing spots in the area.

Everything was just perfect.

The history, the wonkiness, the atmosphere, the quality of the fixtures and fittings, and overall the presentation being top notch. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating, with advice on local facilities, including the excellent local pub 'The Angel Inn'. The room we stayed in was warm, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderfully presented with plenty of choice.

We decided to book a night away, for my birthday and so pleased we did. Nothing was too much trouble and the hosts were helpful in every way. The suite was stunning, with plenty of space and very comfortable. The bed was the highlight feature! Pleasantly suprised that there were plenty of pillows and had a wonderful sleep. The garden is beutiful. You can tell the amount of care taken in its upkeep. Had a peaceful and lovely night away and would happily stay again.
