Private rooms in authentic apartment in Old town of Tunis, near Medina

Large bedroom with en-suite. Plenty of communal space too

A beautiful high ceilinged apartment with lots of elegant features and furnishing. Also a wonderful location. We loved this stay.

This is the former apartment of a French officer in a historical building with beautiful original 1903 tile floors, high ceilings, and carved stone fireplace. The owners have decorated with high quality furnishings so that the place feels very classy. We were in Room 1 with a private bathroom. Rooms 2-4 shared a bathroom. We all shared the kitchen and living room spaces. Taieb or Ines came by every day to clean rooms or visit with guests. They left fruits and cakes for guests to share, and the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, dishes, pots, microwave, electric oven and basic foods (oil, pasta, rice, eggs, spices). We could walk to the Medina and the municipal market easily. Has washing machine; line dry clothes on the balcony. Overall a delightful experience of Tunisian hospitality!

Had unstable Wi-Fi connection for a video call in the afternoon. A little slower cooking on the two-burner electric hot plate - not a full stove.

Beautiful apartment with multiple rooms in the middle of Tunis. Spacious and quiet rooms with clean and generous shared facilities. Living room is an absolute delight with balconies, cosy design and delicious cake baked by the host. Highlight of this place are the superb hosts. Fabulous hospitality.

Good, nice and culture

The location was really, really good, in a secure building, close to everything a tourist might need - supermarket, exchange office, ATMs, mobile services, cafés... The hosts are also exceptionally kind and hospitable. If the room was still available, I would have stayed longer.

The other Wi-Fi router in the living room wasn't strong and often wouldn't connect, even when standing next to it.

Great central location. Lovely apartment and facilities (don't be put off by the entrance hall!).

The apartment is excellent 👌 the only think is one toilet for three rooms but it wasn't a big think. Very clean place, very very close to Medina and the host was very kind and he responded to any message we sent him. I liked a lot the apartment.

I liked everything. For our room I could recommend just a hook for our towels. Nothing more. :)
