Cleanliness. A couple quick fixes would be: 1)paint the entire wall at entry. It had noticeable touchups , these are your first impression when you walk in. 2)clean out the light defusers that are full with dead bugs. 3) clean fan in bathroom, it was caked with dust buildup 4)repair large hole on top edge of door trim in bathroom, and a hole in the kitchen floor( is this from termites or cockroaches?) I did find a live cockroach in the tub one day.5) the couch was filthy, clean it or get a new one.

Location

Tha apt was safe, clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that I could sit on the patio and enjoy the Canal view. The pool was small but fine for swimming and cooling off. It was clean too. The location was great, near Las Olas and not too far from the beach. I rented a bicycle instead of a car and it was perfect for getting around. The other guests in the complex were from different countries, friendly and interesting. I would definitely return to 65 Hendrick's Isle and highly recommend it.

The bed was not that comfortable. I would prefer a firmer mattress.

It would have been nice to have laundry detergent. Also, there was no cooking oil and salt in the kitchen.

A lovely apartment and location was great. A shame because the apartment wasn’t clean, the floors were filthy, our feet were black just walking in the floor gif 5 minutes. Also we saw 5 cockroaches. The steps up to the apartment were dirty and tiles loose around the pool, only 2 beds out by the pool, not sure why this was and no umbrella on the table by the pool.
