I really enjoyed my stay at the Island View House. I feel like it's a hidden gem in the Portland area. It's much more of an AirBnB than a hotel. Our room was on the top floor which felt like a loft apartment, which was perfect for us. The facilities, bed, and bathroom were great, clean, comfortable, and I loved the decor. It is a pretty easy, 15-20 minute walk into downtown Portland. I really enjoyed staying here and would recommended it to anyone!

"Good place to stay when visiting Portland."

It’s close to the promenade, river front and major attractions. It is situated in a very quiet street.

The toilet and shower space is a tad small. Otherwise, no complaints
