JESMOND HOUSE B&B Room3 Superking Ensuite

Very homely,and with a positive energy within. A very large room and amazing comfortable bed, very quiet which added to sleep extremely well. Lots of pets and chickens outside, made it even more relaxing, a real jem🤩.

The bedroom was hugh,very clean &tidy and as nice as in the picture. The breakfast were great with varieties. The owner of the house is so friendly and caring. The first night the room was so cold because the central heater was turned off at night. So we informed her the th next morning, she apologized and brought us a small heater to the room right away.

Nothing really that we didn't like. But I would recommend the owner to beautify the garden because the trees were overgrown and look untidy. The entrance to the house looked narrow ,dirty , and mysterious because of the thick dark curtain which the owner probably intended to separate her private area to clients area.

The room was very large and well appointed, quite "arty" and "quirky". Breakfast had a good variety and we could have popped back in for hot drinks at any time and there were food take away numbers to order food to be taken in the dining room- quite exceptional. The hosts were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. There were plenty of pubs and restaurants 15 minutes walk away, with Hull centre about 10 minutes away by bus from that same location. Also, Pearson Park is very nice indeed.

Breakfast was Vegan, not really our thing, though the oat milk was surprisingly good. This might have been mentioned in the general description. There is 1 off-street parking space. If that is taken there is free street parking in the immediate area, but you may have to drive around a bit to find a slot.

The location suited me as I was visiting friends, and Salisbury Street is quiet.

I wondered how much thought had been given, as there was no plug for the wash-basin, and although there was a table no chair at which one could sit at it. But a very comfortable armchair.

We spent 3 nights at Jesmond House at the beginning of April. Our Host, a lovely lady, could not have been more pleasant or helpful. She made us feel like part of the family. Our super king size, en suite room was beautifully decorated (she has an artistic flair) and very comfortable. The house has a multitude of beautiful stained glass windows and Victorian fireplaces. Breakfast was amazing. so much choice! Location was in a pretty tree lined street, and within 15 minutes walk there were numerous eateries offering food from all over the world. Another 15 mins further and we were into Hull City centre with its shops, marina, minster and much more to visit.

We couldn't find anything to dislike!

Lovely Arts and Crafts house with beautiful stained glass. Room well decorated and very comfortable. Lovely cozy sitting room that guests can use downstairs with fish tank and birds. Fantastic breakfast room with tea, coffee, toast, crumpets and jam available whenever you wants. Owners very welcoming.

Lovely quirky b&b. Clare and Gene were so nice and made you feel really welcome like part of the family. The room was lovely and a massive bed. Breakfast was nice and you could help yourself all day if you got peckish. Make yourself tea, toast, crumpets etc. Property was so unique, like an Aladdin’s cave of things to look at.

Lovely place and owners. Very warm and friendly welcome. Excellent room with a very comfortable bed and ensuite facilities. Will stay again if visiting Hull again.
