"The place to go in Kolkata"

Fantastic guest house in Kolkata. After a 2 weeks stay in India, i greatly appreciated The Turquoise Letterbox hotel comfort. It is situated close to Park Street, a central street in town. The building is away from the noisy streets and very comfortable. The bed has a good mat, AC and ventilation are available. A little kitchen with water purifier and a fridge are a real plus. Balcony, western toilet, shower. TV, furniture... Nothing is missing. Soumik, the owner, is a very nice gentleman. He will help you for everything you need during your stay. Very friendly, smart type of man. 100% recommended.

The best place I’ve stayed in over 40 countries. The hosts were a lovely and welcoming family that helped with everything I could need while staying including laundry. I feel I’ve left with new friends! The apartment has everything you need for a super comfortable stay with reliable and fast internet, netflix on TV and a comfy bed. I can’t recommend this stay enough, if you’re coming to Kolkata for any reason, here’s your number 1 choice!

The host’s response to queries and the ease of access. A cute property that makes your stay enjoyable for the sheer old world charm that it has to offer. The bustle outside is left behind as soon as one enters the gates of the property and one is transported to a serene place. Messi, if he is outside, greets you with a bark…okay a couple of barks but is a darling once he gets you his ball:) Overall, recommended for the ease of connectivity, the central location and thoughtfully appointed room!

Nothing that I would want to put down. It’s a labour of love for the hosts and they are people who want to make it an experience for the travellers. You are in safe hands!
