Cosy 2 Bedroom Apartment near City Centre

It was a decent size and great location to our venue. It was reasonably priced for location.

The whole flat smelt awful. The window was open when we arrived so was freezing and the smell was still very apparent. A mix between damp and old cooking smells. There was a leak at the toilet which flooded bathroom floor after each flush. The tv wasn’t connected to be able to use (no channels set). No WiFi. No hot water on the sink in the bathroom. Cushions and sofas were dirty. The bedding wasn’t great. There were exposed electrics at sockets in front room. Really old and badly stained wall heaters in rooms which were unusable as furniture pushed up against them. No instructions available for heaters.

Plenty of space, good location (20min walk from train, 20min to co-op live), WiFi, tea & coffee.

Very good for the price, location close to tram to go to city centre, free on-site parking, cleanliness

Really enjoyed the single night stay and for the price was very good. To make excellent I suggest: update cutlery to provide full sets i.e. lack of forks, teaspoons, standard glasses, replace main bedroom curtains to fully cover the window (current curtain just about provides privacy), ability to turn on the bedside light for the double bed in the main bedroom (no nearby electrical socket)

Couldn’t get hold of the owners and were locked out of the apartment and ended up missing the concert we were going to attend. We had to be let in by the cleaners who were there nearly 3 hours after our expected arrival time. The bed was broken, there was mould on the shower ceiling, no towels provided, mouldy dishes found in the kitchen cupboard and the front door handle wouldn’t work and we got locked/ stuck in the building multiple times.

Extremely convenient for us as we were looking to head into the city centre. Great price! Host has also been extremely helpful with a process of returning lost property. Would highly recommend! 10/10

Very comfy and clean! Beds were very good quality, very equip with necessities. Easy to find with very accessible parking.

The cold tap in the bathroom did not work and the toilet was a little temperamental. The only other thing was we couldn’t work out the WiFi, but they might just have been our end!
