Covanro Sigiriya - Where Heritage Meets Luxury

I had the pleasure of staying at Covanro Sigiriya. It was truly a very relaxing and memorable experience for me. The property is very nice very tastefully designed with a touch of elegance for the reception, dining space, and bar. It’s so calm with lots of nature around, the perfect little retreat near Sigiriya. Rooms are really spacious and clean so very comfortable enough to give a relaxed feel. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all pretty solidly good, easily rivaling a strong four-star standard. We throughly enjoyed the evening cocktails on the pool side which lit up the mood to unwind after exploring the day. The employees were unbelievably nice and polite, always smiling when they greeted us ensuring that our visit was enjoyable, and quite friendly, which was quite exceptional. Hospitality is through warm personal attentive details and professionalism and that’s exactly what make a difference.

The TV channels were quite limited, and sometimes the signal didn’t work properly. It wasn’t a big issue, but it could be improved to match the rest of the hotel’s excellent standards.

Large pool, quiet place.

Food was terrible, especially breakfast. This place caters for groups, not couples. Room needs serious cleaning and renovation.
