The Shack - Thatched Self Contained Annex

The Shack was spotlessly clean and had everything you could possibly need. The decor and attention to detail was exceptional. The garden was lovely - peaceful and secluded. We would definitely stay again.

Spotless, modern, lots of little welcome treats, quality of furnishings and appliances was great.

Mezzanine bed was a bit uncomfortable for husband but he is 6’ 2” tall!

A fantastic find - a really unique and well set up property. We loved the outdoor space and were lucky enough to have the weather to enjoy it. Lots of lovely finishing touches and well equipped with everything that we needed. The kitchen was a great feature as we were able to enjoy some relaxed evenings in the property.

We had problems with the hot water in the shower but Lee worked hard to resolve this for us and offered us a shower in his other property to use instead. He has only recently opened and is working hard to fix the snagging problems. We found the bed a little hard and also couldn't get the BBQ to work (we think it was out of gas) but otherwise everything was fantastic!

Beautiful, quirky and stylishly decorated property. Loved the mezzanine bedroom. Too many welcoming touches to list! Spacious and well thought out outdoor area. Host was friendly, informative and helpful. Very private location- not overlooked.

This place is a little gem! It is decorated so beautifully and there were so many little touches that went above and beyond expectations such as fresh milk and orange juice, board games and toiletries in the bathroom. The garden is stunning and Lee the host was very welcoming! You walk through the garden to get to the shack and Lee has listened to feedback and provided a trolley if needed for luggage. I would highly recommend this place!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

It was a lovely holiday accommodation, tucked away at the owners property, which felt far away enough for privacy but close enough if you needed help with anything. Lee, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The finishing touches of fresh flowers, complimentary snacks/drinks and books/games made it very welcoming. An amazing find and would definitely book again!

There wasn't anything I disliked!

Very clean and comfy, lots of nice little touches, quirky and stylish. Great outdoor area, v quiet and private. V helpful host.
