Villa Helen - Heated Pool Wifi SmartTV Barbecue

The villa was large, clean, and had everything necessary for a great stay. Lovely quiet residential area, behind secured gates. Great sunbathing area with comfy loungers. It’s about 35 minutes walk into town, which is great for getting your daily steps in.

The only downside was that the mattresses were too firm, they could do with toppers to make your sleep more comfortable.

Nestled in a gated community, this villa offers a relaxing and peaceful holiday experience. Pictures dont do it justice, vary large space and well laid out. Would happily return here again.

We visit corralejo a lot so was very familiar with the area and was happy we were out of town as we had a car - it’s a great leisurely walk to the town which we did in the evenings , villa was very spacious inside and out - outside is where we always spend much of our time and it was just perfect - villa is spotlessly clean - some great restaurants close by and two big supermarkets.

I found the lack of communication very slow or non existent - we didn’t have any check in info until the evening before we flew , I messaged 3 times before we heard anything, I asked before and during our stay for a few hours extra on check out which we didn’t hear back about , asked a few other questions regarding parking and issue with safe to hear nothing all week - we did receive a message the day before check out on what to do with keys - am just hoping it was just a busy week but still not reassuring to book again . Few ideas for future guests / refurb shower in the en suite is tiny compared to the space it’s in , forever turning the heat up and down by accident not great with children as can get very hot Lack of info - there is no folder with information on how anything works - tv , safe etc , no info for those that are new to corralejo on restaurants , supermarkets etc Also beds as a few have mentioned soo uncomfortable 😣

Location - quiet and with secure access. If you looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you. You can either walk to town center if you need (30 minutes slow walk) or buy groceries in near supermarkets (about 15 minutes walk or 4 minutes drive). Heated pool (extra paid 22€ / day) - but to be fair we didn't even need to use it - in 1st half of October we had 26-28°C every day, so after most of the day at the beaches, pool was warm enough to use it comfortably after 21:00. Even if you decide to relax at home for full day - with sunny weather, you don't really need a heating (maybe except coldest months between November and March?). Room sizes were bigger than expected, one room with ensuite and direct access to outside garden with pool. If I will visit Fuerteventura anytime soon - I will rent this villa again (or any next to it of this one won't be available).

Nothing. There was a problem with broken bath shower, but when I reported it to property manager - I was assured it will be fixed in a few hours (which I didn't need as we were using other shower anyway - so I just wanted to let him know that it will need to be fixed before another guests arrives). Narrow road inside property area and small car ports - you won't fit in with estate car but we kept car outside the house - no issue at all as entrance is secured anyway.

Nice pool, wide spaces, very clean and in a good position. Comfortable beds and large bathrooms. We really enjoyed staying in Villa Helen!
