Fairwinds,Bigbury on sea ,Three-bed Beach House

The view from terrace was amazing, the house was bright and sunny with nice decor and good kitchen equipment and the heating was excellent too once we had sorted out the gas bottle changeover. Stunning location, easy to find and good value for money. A bit tub would have really ticked all the boxes by the way.

Bathroom door handle on ensuite not working. Front door handle very stiff and there were areas that needs cleaning and dusting, like corners etc. The plug sockets on the stack on the kitchen bar were covered in dust. Outside chairs and table needed cleaning, but it was February so I guess that's forgiven, we just happened to have three fantastically sunny days so we did sit outside a lot. Perhaps you need to give your cleaner more time to do a bit more of a thorough job. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean on the whole though.

Not much. The sink plug in the family bathroom is a bit weird and it got stuck mid way through the holiday. That’s the only issue. A salad bowl would be good.

Fantastic location, minutes from the beach and coastal path. Great space inside and out. comfy beds, great social living area to relax and be together. Good quality facilities and appliances. Everything provided for a relaxing, modern stay. Good communication from the host. Loved it here. Highly recommend.

Ideal for a family stay with a toddler and a dog. Ample parking, lots of wipe clean surfaces, enclosed and secure outside area. Just a short walk down to the beach.

The only downside is that there is no/virtually no phone reception in Bigbury on Sea, which caused a slight panic when we wanted to check the key code on arrival - we should have printed it off.

Value for money, but that’s really my choice Main bath / shower needs some minor maintenance, sealant around the bath

Nice kitchen. We mostly ate at the holiday home and cooked our own meals. Two elevated terraces for sunbathing hanging out and an patio with table for outdoor eating.

Location was fantastic, house was light, airy & spacious and well equipped.

The standard of cleaning could have been a bit better (floor dusty & some cobwebs around) & the outside furniture is a bit rusty & has seagull poo on it so it needs a good scrub and checked between guests
