Canopy Lodge - Boutique Lodge at Hakuba Cortina

Everything about Canopy Lodge was amazing. Emily and Mike, the owners, were so friendly and accommodating.....alongside the amazing team of staff...absolute shout out to every single one of them! It's such a wonderful place so close to the slopes. Stand out was Mikes exceptional culinary skills. Freshly baked bread and beautifully put together meals every night. We couldn't have asked for a better stay. Helped by freshly dumped snow....skiing in the area is incredible! Truly the best! We can't wait to go back!

The cooked breakfast/dinner was phenomenal. If I wasn’t feeling like having a big breakfast, there was a free continental breakfast, complete with coffee, juices, bread and cereal. Amazing and friendly staff that absolutely shreds powder.

Hard to say, can’t think of any. Wish I stayed longer.

Everyone at Canopy Lodge was super friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was great. If you haven't heard about Mike's cooking already, you're in for an amazing experience. Each meal was incredibly adventurous, tasty and healthy. He also caters to dietary needs.

The food at the lodge is extraordinary. Mike is a fantastic chef and the best meals we had in Japan were cooked by him.

The owners, Emily & Mike, are the best! Nothing was a problem, and they stayed in contact with us the whole time during our stay to ensure we had our plans sorted and travel arrangements organised. The other staff were fantastic and friendly, food was great, and could not fault our stay in the lodge at all. A great family-operated feel to everything 😊

Cortina (the resort itself, not the lodge) is a little isolated from nearby restaurants or shops, however shuttle arrangements can be made through the lodge to get around! The lodge itself is beautifully located right next to the Cortina slopes though, which was amazing!
