Perfect location. Parking space with the house. Easy walk in to city centre to the Christmas markets and just minutes from Barbican theatre. Clean, modern. Loved that they also provided some coffee, tea, sugar.

Super easy to get the keys, the house was lovely, facilities were great, bed was comfy, parking was easy and instructions were clearly communicated by the host.

The shower curtain could do with changing and there is a locked door at the top of the landing next to the bedroom which seemed to be an adjoining door or something? The light would come on at times behind the door which did unsettle me a little bit in terms of feeling secure and privacy. That said it remained locked so if you can put that asside it wasn't an issue but worth noting for sure.

Convenient distance from the centre of York, free parking space at the rear of the property.

Free parking. Close to York city wall and the Barbican. Comfy and homely house, with great beds and linens. Bathroom good. Wi-fi was good strength

There was a washing machine, but no airer. There was a clothes line in the small back garden, but that’s only useful in warmer weather

Location is excellent

Some slabs in the garden were loose. Trip hazard especially at night

It was a well furnished house in a quiet area, within walking distance of the Walmgate area of York and access to the city walls. There were several bus routes to take us to the far side, such as York Museum and gardens, Micklegate and the National Railway Museum. It was a bonus having parking on site.

There were awkward steps down from the car parking area to the house entrance. A hand rail would make it safer. The exit on the other side (front door?) was on the level and we used that most of the time.
