2 bedroom house walking distance to city centre WITH FREE PARKING

It was the perfect size for us, and just a short walk from town. It also worked perfectly with the fact we were moving our daughter and the property was just around the corner.

Location and size, also the fact it had a washing machine so I didn’t have to get home to loads of washing.

House was extremely clean, bedrooms were beautifully decorated , the owner was easy to get hold of

Unfortunately for the 2 nights I was there we had music very loud in the area all evening until about 10.30, this ruined my evenings as I like to get in bed and relax and it was frustrating, I read the previous reviews before booking and most said quiet location so was a little disappointed I didn't get that experience, the city is a walk but to get into the centre of all the shops it's definitely longer then 10 minutes. The house was beautiful just wish the bedrooms had a tv so you could relax better in the evenings.

We had a fantastic experience during our stay! The unit’s location is just perfect — close to everything we needed and super convenient for getting around. The house was full of warmth and comfort. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep after a long day out. Everything about the stay was smooth, relaxing, and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

There’s actually nothing to not like. But I would like to give a suggestion if you could have indoor clothes drying rack. It’ll be very helpful. We took advantage of the washer to get some laundry done. And would really appreciate the drying rack. It was too cold to hang the laundry outside. 😬

Cosy, clean, private and quiet, lovely warm comfortable homely place to stay, close to York centre plus our host was very helpful. Thankyou for a lovely stay and parking was brilliant. We hope to book again soon x

It must have been a tall man that placed mirrors as my wife is 4ft nothing and couldn't see herself lol.... Would have been nice for a full length mirror .. .... So if that's the only complaint ...its not bad .lovely home ..thankyou.
