Upper Gelli Luxury Holiday Lodge, Converted Dairy & Cosy Shepherds Huts

The lodge we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable. The WiFi worked great. The hamper given to us was a lovely touch with bread, butter, eggs, jam and milk, oh and some Welsh cakes. All cleaning stuff is provided and tea bags, coffee, sugar. So nice not having to worry about going straight out to the shops to get the basics. Beautiful scenery surround the lodge. We saw sheep, squirrels,pheasants and other small birds during our stay. Normally I like to be out lots when I go away but I could have quite easily spent our days just enjoying the lodge. Bryn was very friendly and welcoming and he was available if we needed him for anything. He sent over some great advice for the local area via WhatsApp. We visited Pystyll Rheadr waterfall and went on the local steam train. We didn't get round to another waterfall we'd planned on so could have quite easily spent some extra days in the area. The hot tub was great.

Nothing at all. Everything was beautiful. I would have preferred to receive the accomodation/welcome pack the day before so I had time to receive and read before starting out. It was sent about 12 on the day but I didn't see it until after we'd arrived. Forgot to tell Bryn the kitchen tap is dripping.

It was large and great! Amazing BBQ facility, loads of extra touches that meant we always had what we needed. Comfy and also having two ensuits for each bedroom was awesome The views and the clear skies were amazing.

Nothing! If I had to come up with a tiny thing maybe a bigger tv in the living room might be nice but you’re so distracted by the views it’s not needed!

Excellent and well equipped property with stunning views of the Welsh countryside. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We look forward to returning in the future.

What a place! Stayed here for 2 nights and we wasn’t disappointed 😀 we stayed in the shepards hut with our own hot tub and it was unbelievable so peaceful and amazing views in a perfect location. Excellent hosts who gave us a hamper on arrrival with local milk, egg, fresh bread, butter and jam etc plus give you all information about local pubs, shops, walks etc (the raven pub has excellent food 👌🏻) We will definitely be back from T and F 😀

The location was perfect, we wanted to be away from the city, the noise and hustle. We got there and it was so peaceful. The property itself was well thought out and clean. I even got a surprise birthday cake and decor. We had everything we needed. Annelise and Bryn were super friendly, they gave us lots of information prior to our stay and we were able to communicate with them easily if we needed anything.
