"Stay away."

No running hot water. Run down room. Literally paint falling off the walls On street, ground level room. Very noisy. Had to argue for a refund for absence of services that should be non-negotiable. Would NOT recommend.

Everything nothing worked including heating no tv no internet and no reply’s from customer service at the property about issues just new codes sent every day for doors changing them daily so if you don’t have notifications turned on your locked out especially if you leave your phone in room your stuck !!!

"Nice location, Accommodation could be so much better,,,,"

Good location, within city walls and close to main streets

While the room was spacious, it needed a thorough cleaning_ - carpet was badly stained, and a lot of dust and debris around the bed, WORST OF ALL WE HAD NO HOT WATER. We discovered this after being out for dinner, and we were due to leave the following morning. I emailed the business on discovering the issue, and got a reply two days later saying they would look into it, By this time we had left. We were offered no compensation for the significant disruption to our stay. Cold showers in the morning are not our thing!. My advice is to check when you arrive that he water heater is on, and that the supply won't run out. Also while the place says free parking, you could find yourself blocked in by another guest's car. There is no way of knowing whose if it needs to be moved

"Great location and cozy rooms, but management's unprofessional silence regarding the lack of water"

The location was great, and the room was cosy and comforting. It was nice to have a separate living room and bedroom. There was enough space to cook and eat at the dining table. The cleaner on the on-site team was very agreeable and accommodating.

The communication from Homsley Guest House management was highly confusing and unprofessional. We were bombarded with suspicious messages regarding account creation and ID verification, yet we were never notified prior to arrival that the property had no working water. Upon discovering the lack of heating and hot water, I contacted management immediately. I was repeatedly brushed off with promises of a callback that never happened. Furthermore, the rooms smelled so strongly of smoke that we had to ventilate them for an entire day. Because the hot water was never fixed during our stay, we were forced to wash using a bin and a mug.

"Worst hotel stay"

It was cold, dirty, no hot water at all. Alarm going off outside twice when i was there. One in morning and during the night for ages. Did not get much sleep. Flies everywhere including in bed. I had to check in myself when i called customer service number it just cut off. Noone to speak to about my experience. I dont like complaining but was the worst experience.
