Cat Ba Green Pearl Hotel

Our host at the Green Pearl Hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful even before we arrived. He provided clear instructions for our journey from Hanoi to the hotel and offered excellent recommendations for restaurants and tour options for sightseeing. Our stay here was truly memorable

Amazing location with so much to see in the area! The property is really beautiful and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, bright, and clean, featuring a handy little desk. Breakfast was delicious, and all the staff were super lovely and helpful, even organizing a bus pickup from our previous hotel. The atmosphere had a very nice family feel to it; they even invited us to join them for dinner, but we felt a bit shy - they were just too friendly!

Great location-close to the center but by the main street, so it's calm at night. The receptionist, Than, is fantastic: very friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. The breakfast was great, too. I got a free upgrade to a room on my fourth night as a gesture of appreciation, and I’m really grateful for that. The cooking and cleaning staff were also very friendly. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable.

Best hotel on Cat Ba Island for sure! I cannot express how nice the owner is - Tony is super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The room was massive with a big glass window, bright and airy, with a clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was top-notch, especially the pancakes, and there was a great variety to choose from - everything was delicious!

This hotel has a fantastic location, right in the center. The rooms are very clean, with large beds and effective air conditioning to keep the space cool. The owner is great—polite and always ready to help. As soon as we arrived, he assisted us with organizing our trip around the island, renting us bicycles, and helping to arrange a boat trip and bus tickets for our onward journey. The breakfast had a big selection, and I highly recommend the pancakes. The rooms are well-equipped with everything you need for your stay.

Excellent value for what you get! The room was very clean and spacious. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! I rented a motorbike for two days at a great price, and their laundry service was also impressive. On my last day, they organized my bus back to Hanoi as well. Service is a solid 10/10.

What an amazing stay at the Cat Ba Green Pearl hotel. From the outstanding staff who welcomed us any time of the day or night to the delicious breakfast and clean rooms, everything was perfect. We had nice chats with both hosts, and they were always happy to help with any requests. The room felt spacious, clean, and comfortable.

The breakfast was fine. We could select one option from the menu. It’s ok. The receptionist was welcoming.

The hotel is fine for a short stay, one day or two tops. It just wasn’t very clean at all, in fact we could see that certain things hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The bedroom window was facing a pathway so we could hear people walking past and had very little privacy.
