Cat Ba Green Pearl Hotel

Convenient to downtown Cat Ba but located in a very quiet street! We enjoyed staying here and Tony the manager could not do enough to assist us with anything we asked! Great value for money!

We loved everything about our stay and can 100% recommend this hotel! The staff were very friendly and spoke English well. They provided us with great information and tips on what to do around the island. The room had an amazing view with a large window, making it feel bright and open. The quality of the room was excellent—clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. On our third night, we were offered a free upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. We even extended our stay without any issues.

Great location and Tony (the manager) was very helpful and polite. The breakfast was good and the price-quality of the bedroom was above average.

The bathroom can have some improvements/ maintenance. There were a lot of construction works on near by buildings (actually the whole town) but didn't affected our sleep just gave a weird look.

This was the perfect stay in Cat Ba. It was just a short 5-minute walk to the center, yet located on a quiet street away from the noise. The rooms were spacious and very peaceful. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was good and plentiful. Tony was absolutely amazing—one of the kindest and most helpful hosts I’ve met in Vietnam. He booked an overnight cruise in Lan Ha Bay for me, as well as a half-day trip to Cat Ba National Park.

Excellent location! The room was lovely and clean, with a comfy bed, a powerful shower, and quiet fans and air conditioning. Tony from reception was super friendly and helpful with tours and motorcycle hire. I would suggest checking the motorcycle before you hire it—this was our mistake for not doing so this time—but Tony was very supportive when we encountered an issue with the bike, which turned out to be pretty average. Breakfast was good as well!

The place was super clean, and everyone was incredibly nice and helpful. Even breakfast was included, and it was absolutely delicious. They helped us so much, from renting a scooter to booking buses. A special thanks to the lovely man who assisted with booking tours and transportation. he even sent us a detailed message with all the things to do in the area, including exact locations. I had a private room, which was very clean , and it was also very spacious

I cannot say enough good things about Tony at the reception. He helped us with so many things and was always available, making our stay absolutely excellent. The hotel is conveniently located by the main street and within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Tony arranged an early check-in, luggage storage, and even a shower before we headed out on a night bus. The room quality was outstanding, with clean linens and comfortable bedding that made for a great night's sleep. It was equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant stay

I absolutely loved the location. The view of the street was lovely; although it was busy, it wasn’t noisy. I liked that it was slightly removed from the main tourist strip but still close enough to walk there when I wanted to be part of it. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding and ample storage space for my belongings. The decor was modern and inviting, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

I can definitely recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Cat Ba. I was in a private room, and it was spacious and very clean. The people there are very service-oriented and share lots of activities you can do on the island. Breakfast is basic but definitely good. The location is also perfect since you can easily walk everywhere, and because it’s not on a busy street, you don’t have any noise

Very clean and fresh place, with air conditioning and a functional TV. The location is great—close to all necessary facilities like grocery stores and restaurants. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the promenade and a 15-minute walk to the nearest beach, or you can take an electric vehicle for 10,000 VND per ride. At the same time, the hotel is not located on a busy road, so it’s pretty quiet. The breakfast sets are varied and delicious. The manager, Tony, is very helpful and thoughtful, providing excellent service.
