Sandgate Chapel - Self Check In Apartments

Clean city centre apartment. Kitchen had tea and coffee supplied. All the normal appliances supplied and working. The place was clean and adequate for a few days stay.

When we entered the apartment there was a man in high vis jacket in the bedroom changing. He had apparently lived there before and had code to the door and thought he was staying there. He quickly left when I showed the reservation and communication with the host, saying there must be some mistake. He had used the bathroom , but did not get in to the bed. This mistake I believe was due to the hosts not changing the door code after each guest. The apartment was a little stuffy at night due to lack of adequate ventilation despite the exhaust fan in the living room.

Excellent location. Central for the town and close to public parking. Easy access and communication. This is an exceptionally clean studio apartment ideal for a short stay. Very well equipped with a large comfortable bed and fluffy towels.

Lack of windows to open and having to sit on the bed to watch tv. A small comfy chair would be a welcome addition.

Very attractive little apartment

Large spacious apartment that was well equipped and had very comfortable beds. In the center of town, with lots of places to eat and drink.

Could do with proper chairs (or a small sofa) and a table downstairs.

I loved that it was on two levels. Kitchen facilities were great. Bed was super comfy.

Nowhere to park on the road, but there is a car park legendary across the road

Nice location, and pleasant, clean apartment upon entering. Kitchen was good and kitted out well enough. Good location. Would stay here but know what you are getting based on comments below.

The room was incredibly stuffy. Fans provided but didn't allow the room to cool and with the bedroom being on the first floor it was hard to sleep. I imagine colder days/winter this would not be an issue. The kitchen, while good, was only kitted out for 2 people - no major drama but even though only 2 of sometimes not practical. We stayed on a Saturday and was fairly noisy from other residents. The general seating area was lacking. The sofa more of a double seat and no tv downstairs but yet this gigantic one in the upstairs bedroom meaning you could only watch tv when on your bed. There is one huge window with an oversized blind - not great for keeping light out in the summer months Finally the fire exit also leads from the bedroom. As lights on outside this added to the light.
