"A very friendly, cosy hotel, with nice nooks to relax and read in!"

Loved the room and the housekeeping was brilliant - someone noticed that I was drinking all the available water, so resupplied me with double the number of bottles (and biscuits!). Very sweet.

The food in the dining room felt warmed-up, rather than freshly cooked, but tadted good.

Attentive welcoming staff. Dinner in the bar Bistro was excellent with great friendly service. Executive single room was cosy with wide comfortable bed. Location was in centre of town but not noisy. Close to Borders crematorium - the reason for my visit.
