Had to return at 11.30 as the pub was closing & no ability to enter accommodation once staff closed up

Broken sash window, other window painted shut. Breakfast menu not available in restaurant - only in the bedroom! Overall price too high for quality of accommodation. Downstairs barroom smelt of urine.

Only stayed for one night - but wished it was for longer. Really friendly people, lovely room with a view of the village pond and a fantastic breakfast.

The whole place was beautiful inside and out so picturesque. So clean and comfortable. The staff at the star inn are amazing nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

"Passable but would not stay there again"

Breakfast very poor indeed Beaker of tea , not even a pot All very basic no fruit The bedroom window was covered in cobwebs inside and out. A sash window impossible to open
