Breakfast option was cooked only, I would have preferred cereal options, but that's personal preference, I was offered an alternative which I was happy with so the team were flexible.

Good Pub. Great food. Friendly and attentive service at dinner, and great breakfast. Nice quiet village. The room overlooked an active pond full of ducks & birds. Overall good value.

Downsides ..... Room labelled as "Superior Single" - it was far from "Superior", more basic. No wardrobe or even hangers - just a coat stand. No working seat/chair for the desk - I had to ask for one, which was instantly provided. Very small bath towel - a constant bug bear for me. Hotels/B&B's should provide bath sheets. Tiny hand basin with incompatible tap - tap discharges very close to edge so you unavoidably spill water on the floor EVERY time you wash your hands! I accidentally left my key in the room at breakfast. It was the only key to the room and I had to wait 2 haours for a locksmith to arrive to let me in. My fault - but ........ the only key?!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very welcoming, food was excellent, and rooms were clean and comfortable.

The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast good, with options to change.

Cereal and fruit at breakfast would be good. Also our room was near the road which was suprisingly noisy during the night.
