Little Dockray Two-Bedroom Apartment Centre of Penrith

Apartment was very clean and necessities provided. Close to the shops as well. No parking though. But there is paid parking about 5mins walk away.

The bathroom is en suite with one of the rooms so a bit difficult when others need to use the toilets as well especially during the night. The downstairs area leading into the apartment looked fishy and unsafe though it's off the high street and we were confused for a moment. But the apartment itself was nice.

Everything was lovely.

I liked everything...the only thing is that there was one bathroom and it was upstairs. But that's not a problem for a family who knows each other. It would have been on description no doubt anyway x

Instructions to find the property were accurate. collection of the keys from the key safe was perfect as it gave us the option to arrive at a time that suited us.

The apartment was extremely nice and situated perfectly for exploring the Lake District.

The apartment was over two levels which made it spacious and there was lots of extras for entertainment which was great for keeping the kids amused. The location was perfect for what I needed it for (being in the centre of town and with two rooms and a proper kitchen not just a bed and a pull out sofa) and I was able to get parked easily each night. Communication with the hosts before and during the stay was really quick, easy and helpful as I had some extra requests which they were able to accommodate.

There are a lot of stairs, so keep that in mind if you’ve limited mobility.

The only bathroom was an en-suite so those in the main bedroom were disturbed every time someone else needed a wee. We booked for 6 guests but towels were not provided for the two of us using the sofa bed

Clean and well appointed. The heaters warmed it up quickly. I feel the cold very easily.

The bedroom on top floor has a very low ceiling. I hit my head a few times, and I'm not tall. We could have used the bedroom downstairs but the bathroom is on the top floor. Anyone who has mobility issues would struggle with the steep steps. The nightlight on the right side does not work btw.

The property is very close to Penrith Station. Just a 7-9 min walk. You have various grocery stores around the property for supplies and restaurants as well.So the property is a good value for money if you have a group of 4 people.
