Little Dockray Two-Bedroom Apartment Centre of Penrith

Perfect location right in the centre of town. Cosy and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. Felt like home from home. Good friendly communication from owner and easy instructions for access.

The property was just perfect.

Everything was perfect but on a personal note the heavy fire door closers were making noice and I was thinking it was disturbing the people down stairs. ( no fault of the flat)🤣

Few issues with the internet and the heating Really steep stairs to access the property which we hadn’t realised, our 4 year old struggled with these, and was a bit of a nightmare with luggage. - travelling heavy due to our little one but couples etc travelling light would manage easily. The entrance way is quite off putting, particularly the two bins (and the smell). The flat itself is ideal but could be made a lot more “homely” - bright lighting, white walls etc make it feel quite cold and uninviting.

Great location in the centre of Penrith, excellent value, easy to get key from keybox, clean, tidy and comfortable, owner quick to respond to a query - we will definitely try to book again when we are visiting friends in Penrith. We used Morrisons car park as suggested for parking - Only £3.20 for 24 hours and a few minutes walk away.

No complaints, just some points to be aware of. The access isn't appealing, but don't let that put you off, as the accommodation is great. There were three of us staying, it would be very snug for 6 people, but fine as a base - just remember that there's only one shower room/toilet and it's accessed through the attic bedroom.
